Born Eliahu Ilan Elezra in Jerusalem, Israel on November 24, 1960, Eli Elezra is a poker professional, and currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the United States.

History

Little is known about Elezra's youth, only that he grew up in Jerusalem, Israel. According to some information revealed, Eli Elezra enlisted in the Golani Brigades of the Israeli Defense Force and served for a period in the entity. During this period in the military, Elezra ended up getting into trouble and had to serve a prison sentence.

However, Elezra continued his career, but ended up suffering a leg injury in 1982 during the Lebanon War. Given this, the Israeli ended up moving to the United States.

Finally, Eli's last recorded title within the World Series of Poker was in the year 2019. In that year in question, Elezra participated in the $1,500 Seven Card Stud tournament, securing his fourth WSOP bracelet and the sum of $93,766.
