As said recently, the League of Legends system is classified into nine links, namely: Iron; Bronze; Silver; Gold; Platinum; Diamond; Master; Grand Master; Challenger.
However, don't think that moving through these links is an easy task. For example, within the "Iron" rank, there are four categories to be overcome, the stages being: Iron IV; Iron III; Iron II; Iron I. Therefore, each elo requires a higher skill level to be overcome and advance into League of Legends status.
That said, check out how this system is diversified in its categories and links below:
Iron (Iron IV, Iron III, Iron II, Iron I)
Bronze (Bronze IV, Bronze III, Bronze II, Bronze I)
Silver (Silver IV, Silver III, Silver II, Silver I)
Gold (Gold IV, Gold III, Gold II, Gold I)
Platinum (Platinum IV, Platinum III, Platinum II, Platinum I)
Diamond (Diamond IV, Diamond III, Diamond II, Diamond I)
Master
Grand Master
Challenger
After you have checked each link, the task of earning your individual ranking within the League of Legends is an arduous task. The player can level up alone or accompanied, and in addition, there is also the option of playing "flex" matches, where you can play with a team. However, "flex" matches will not aggregate to their individual link and will be counted for the "flex" link.
Therefore, if you win a ranked match or lose, it will count "LP" points, which are known as "League Points". Therefore, with each victory or defeat you will either gain LP or lose LP, and this can crucially affect your link advancement within League of Legends.
How to climb the rank?
Here we'll give a simple example for a beginning League of Legends player to step up. Suppose you are ranked Bronze IV and want to advance to Bronze III. Analyzing this scenario, you will need to reach 100 LP points to be able to move up in the category within the Bronze rank. However, if you get more points than that, you can skip some categories, and you can even move up to Silver all at once.
However, you will need to walk through a series of matches. Having said that, one of the best known games is the "Bo5", the best of five. In these matches, if you manage to win three of these matches, you will advance to the next category of your current link.
However, there is a point to pay attention, if you reach the Diamond rank or above it, you may fall out of the link due to inactivity. Having said that, players who reach this level and leave their accounts without playing, may lose LP over the days, and thus return from the beginning, that is, in the lowest rank.
For example, in the "Diamond" elo the player can spend up to 28 days without playing and will start to lose 50 LP/Day. However, in the "Grandmaster" link, if the player does not play for 10 days, he will lose 250 LP/Day.
